I see a lot of advice that is taken as gospel that is just plain wrong. You'll find a few guys on that site that give thoughtful, well reasoned answers, and a bunch of others who just write the first thing that comes to mind.

I'd advise you to ask your specific questions here. Due to the active competition scene here in CO, there is a disproportionally large number of knowledgable shooters locally. Also, go hit some matches, ask and learn.
