Anyone know anything about wireless surveillance cameras?

Get yourself a Alfa AWUS036H, set it up in ap, bump it up to 1 watt, throw on a yagi antenna (directional) and point at camera. That should give you some serious distance. Anything beyond that will involve breaking out the antenna on the camera.
