Default Want a couple of hides

I am wanting to take a stab at tanning a couple of larger hides this winter, so if any of you get an antelope, deer or God forbid an elk and have no interest in keeping the hide, keep me in mind. I can run to your place or meet up at your convenience in the Denver metro area or any reasonable distance.

Dont get me started! Just kidding.........maybe!
My determination to not strike the first blow, but also to not stand mute and allow myself, and all that I believe in and stand for, to be trampled by men who would deprive me of my God-given, or natural right to suit my own end.

I can keep an eye open for discarded hides from previous kills if you'd like. And if I get lucky here in a couple of days, you can have mine.

Thanks guys. Don't grab any hides you don't know about. No clue how long they have been laying in this heat and the hair would probably start slipping on them

Thanks Jim, but hell no. I would never forgive myself for screwing up a buffalo hide. Plus an elk hide would be pushing it on size for me, but I want to try one. I just figured most guys don't grab their hides so if I screwed one up really bad, it was a no harm no foul thing.

well crap, you could have had my antelope hide. The taxidermist got the cape though as he needs em for some that are coming in with the hair falling out bad. But the rest you could have had to at least practice on.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

It has cracks & tears from sitting outside, a year or two. So no worries what happens.
