Deprimed ~50 pc of 220 swift that my Dad had shot probably over the past 40 years. He gave me the rifle and all the brass he had ever shot through it. Pulled it out of the tumbler this morning. Most is pretty good but some is unfortunately corroded.

Also primed 50 pc of 300blk. Ordered me some W296 last week, which should be here later this week. Gonna work up a 110 grain vmax load and 125 grain SMK load with that blk brass.

Take a look at cstone's post #773 in this thread. I also have an inline precision mount that I have been clamping to my bench. Posted a pic in 'that other thread'. The guy that makes those stands is a really good guy. He custom made a pattern for an press that a friend of mine uses at no charge.

Send me the corroded brass.... I'll wet tumble it. Might be able to save it.

Thanks for the offer JM. I'd say about 50 of the 60 turned out nice and shiny. I had several that still had these pits. This is some of the worst...

I'm thinking if it was more, I'd take you up on that as it's not worth your time for a few shells..

Pretty brass is over rated. If it will hold a primer, it isn't cracked, split, otherwise damaged, load it and shoot it. When it is no longer fit to be loaded, sell it to the scrap man.

I spent the morning pulling the handle on a 1050. Lots of prepped .223

Hey... I gotta clean my own brass too. Why not toss some others in there as well?
