The steroid drops need to soak into my eye, which then drip back into my sinuses..... And that crap tastes effing horrible!!!

My answer is 17,179 miles, and if you are generous enough to give me a 3% error of margin, that gives 16,663 miles to 17694 miles.

    So, how close was I?
    I have absolutely no idea.
I just like watching (imagining in this case) you math geeknerds work these out.I posed the same question to a co-worker some years ago and asked him to show his work. He did it as far as I can tell, but I forgot what he came up with. Knowing what the circumference is 30,000 feet up, let alone accounting for the climb and descent is where I quickly get lost. I should run this by my youngest son, he was a CS/math major before he changed to EE.

The circumference of the earth at the 34th parallel is listed here as 17958.166 miles. Given that a rise in elevation makes it farther still, but likely less than 1% more, your answer falls short.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

One neato thing we got today was a Hornaday "case prep trio" unit. Look forward to getting familiar with that.

After the first beer, I'd be so drunk I'd try to pour the steroids right onto my pecker while screaming, "PLEASE LET THIS WORK!!!!!"
