$15 for how ever long you want for an indoor 15 yard pistol range and 100 yard indoor rifle range. Technically it is for an hour range time, but that only applies if there is a line. I've never had to wait, or have to forfeit a lane. On the other hand, the "membership" that they offer is like $150 for a year and all you get is to pay $10 each time you visit instead of $15.

So that is actually $780 a year if you went every weekend for a year. I suppose if you can afford to shoot several hundred rounds every weekend for a year, you might be able to afford $650 up front for a range, but I certainly can't.

Ha! Pueblo has an indoor pistol range right in City Park. Haven't been there as I can shoot all I want at home, but I just found it interesting that such a "Democrat" town would have a public range in a city park..

This is good news! I'll be moving to the Colorado City area next year (from the Springs), so I'm glad there is an indoor range nearby. It's ridiculous that COSPGS is such an "dry" gun town. I can't believe how few gun stores and ranges there are around here. The last town I lived in (Prescott, AZ) is a fraction of the size and has gun stores and ranges all over the place.

    Ah well.

Cool! Thats a nice area. My aunt and uncle live over in Rye. He lives on 50 acres and he shoots like mad. Even more than me!

4 rifle lanes and and I think 10 hand gun lanes. I get that the place is probably really nice. Don't take my post the wrong way, I guess I'm just not financially set enough join a range that costs that much.

I was just asking about public indoor ranges in general. never been to one so i was just curious. I have been to whistling pines lots of times for the ipsc shoots but I am not a member. it is very nice, but i cant afford it either.

I used to live in a town of 35K year round inhabitants, up to 50K during the school year (college town) and that town supported an indoor shooting range.

I have no idea why a successful indoor pistol range, open to the public, no membership required, is not feasible in Colorado Springs.
