Compiling list of ranges for Map, need help

Silver Bullet Shooting Range on Sheridan.

Only a 25yd range, but they allow most rifles. Good for initial sighting in and such.

I just spoke with Royal Gorge BLM office.

They mentioned a range referred to as "Dinosaur Flats Shooting Range" north of Canyon City, off of the Shelf Rd.

Anyone know about that one ?

I cannot find information regarding Dinosaur Flats, so I have yet to add that. If someone can share details about it, please post them.

It would be really useful to indicate if the range is open to public or member only; any restriction in terms ammo type; and range fee.

For example, Firing Line in Aurora: Open to the public. 50-ft pistol range only. Separate public and member-only lanes. There is always a waiting list for the public area during weekends but rarely any wait for the member only area. Fee: $12 non-member, $6 member. Membership: $140 first year, $125 thereafter. Non-brass ammo ok.

Gun rental is $10 but you have to buy their ammo for rental.

I met a person when I was checking out at Gander Mountain Sport. He had a 1000-rd case in his cart. We chatted about the cost of ammo and shooting ranges. He told me that he went to a place just short drive south of Idaho Springs. It is in a national forest.

If anyone can point out on the map where this place is, it would be really great.

i looked at the map i dident see that you have put trigger time gun club its a new club opening off I-25 i just drove pasted it today and it is built. i think there are just finishing things up but they have a public store, but member only range! it's all indoors there info is on the link.

edit: to add i also don't see Colorado rifle Club know as CRC. they have a 1000 yard rifle range with pits and basicly everything they are also located in bryers colorado. here is there web site. it is a member only club but they host alot of open public matchs!
