Funny that you posted this, I was just out in my garage looking at how much wasted space I had above the garage doors and thought it would be nice to get my building materials (wood, dry wall, etc) from various corners and spots and up there. I was thinking about building myself something along these lines but may have to check into that as an option.

The shelf I got is $150 for one more day, then it goes back to $200 on Monday. It is 4x8' and you can select the vertical drop from 12" to 48". The company that makes them also sells a few other sizes, but only the 4'x8' ones are at costco. The 4'x8' is rated to hold 600lbs, evenly distributed.

Afterthought: I really should have insulated and drywalled that outer wall before hanging this.

I've been wanting to pick up some overhead storage for the garage as well.
For what its worth, I have had my Wilderness Tactical 5 Stitch belt for 4yrs now, wearing it 365 days per year. It is by far the BEST belt I've ever worn. Since I am starting to travel a lot for work, I'm considering getting the titanium buckle version so I don't have to take it off for security checkpoints.
Stopped by at the gunshow yesterday... Ended up buying few small things.
