Before the $89 AK kits we had the $89 Fal kits. Back in the day we built them in almost every caliber from 9mm luger to 8mm Mauser. A post i pulled from 2008 on the falfiles. people were wanting to build carbines.

And everyone thought I was crazy when I built my 7.62X25. In my defense I will say there is no way I would have a stock weight Fal in X25 or even .223

My 7.62X25 Fal will go with me to my grave. And many times I have been contacted by people doing searches and found my little toy....

I still love my .308 fal's but when things are cheap one tends to play. Back then I spent like $600 building this but it was something nobody had. There are about 4-5 now that I know of.
