i'm not impressed with it. Impulse / recoil (what ever that is with a 223) feels the same as my carbine DI system.

I completely agree on the "recoil", I shot my middy next to a buddy's carbine, and could tell no difference. I even had a muzzle device that should have made a mild difference. I just liked the extra real estate on the hand guard, and the look of the mid.
