    To do a shoulder mount is pretty expensive, anywhere from$800 to $1500 for an elk. Of coarse the pose and quality and how well known your taxidermist is all adds into the equation. European mounts are always a classic touch and a lot cheaper, especially if you do it your self. I have a great recipe for boiling skulls then I add a wall plate and she's done. I have shoulder mounts on my wall as well bit these are a few of my favorites just because they are 100% diy start to finish, everything from the hunt to boiling and bleaching the skulls to the final Metal skull mounts.

    Those are some really nice heads, Lars. Worthy of full mounts. I know, they're expensive. I've only had two full mounts done, and boiled the others in European mounts.
