Congrats!
Here is my advice as my good friend has Twins that are now and a month older than my youngest son and they play together a lot and our wives yap about this stuff all the time.
buy 2 car seats with detachable bases. Get 2 extra bases for the other vehicle. Then you can get the kids strapped in, carry them out to the car and they lock in place. Nice and easy. And no switching bases when you take the other car. It gets old.
my youngest son is 9 months now and we just transitioned him to a rear facing car seat so it makes it a bit more of a pain carrying him out to the car and you need either a stroller or a cart getting around stores and whatnot. He sits in high chairs at restaurants so it isn't too bad.
You will definitely want a nice double stroller. My buddy got the longer version which is nice when in tighter spots walking, but the side by side is a little easier to check on each kid and get them what they need.
you absolutely need a baby brezza once you do formula if you are going that route. Put a bottle under the dispenser, hit the button and it makes perfect bottles every time. It's worth every penny and with 2 kids it is worth it's weight in gold. My 9 month old will start whining when he gets hungry, as soon as he hears that thing turn on he crawls over to the counter and waits for me to pick him up and he grabs the bottle and goes to town on it.
From where and how much should I pay? These car seats are everywhere and I don't know what to look for?

Several years ago, we had #1. A coworker gave me an infant carseat.
I bought several used carseats off Craigslist, scrapped the seats, and kept the bases.
After she was 2 years old/ 22 pounds/ 2 years old, we moved her to a different carseat.
For the primary car, we now use a Britax Boulevard:
http://http://www.amazon.com/Britax-.../dp/B00OLRKNIW
For the secondary cars, we use cheap Coscos from Walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-Scen...arper/26845779
In the meantime, the infant carseat hit its expiration date (? 7-years from date of manufacture?), and I destroyed it.
I kept the extra bases. For #2, we bought another seat that worked with the bases I still had:
http://www.amazon.com/Graco-SnugRide.../dp/B00H8MQ5CA
The Cosco is about $40. The Graco is about $90. The Britax is $200+.
For an infant, I would recommend the Graco or the Britax.
The Graco will work for the first two years (only). The seperate base make it super easy to strap the kid into the chair inside the house, then carry the seat out to the car.
The Britax does not have that flexibility, but both it and the Cosco will work from birth to at least 40 pounds.
The Britax and Cosco are both "convertibles", rear-facing or forward-facing. The Britax is very user-friendly; the Cosco not so much.
I think all cars after 2000 have the LATCH system of backseat/parcel deck anchors. If not, you may need some of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Seat-Belt-Adjusting-Clip-4-Pack/dp/B007CN9IJW
One should come with any new seat. They are used with the regular seatbelt system. Check your owners manual for carseat anchor points.
Good luck.
(You're going to need it!)
PS. Infants rear-facing until 22 pounds, 29 inches (about 2 years old).
Then forward-facing OK.
Congrats man! We got a Graco click connect one, luckily my daughter likes it but the this is big with the base. Like many said already get a lighter one cause they get heavy fast and buy extra bases. Man you should buy stock in red bull cause your going to need them with the lack of sleep and stress... Don't worry it's the best experience in your life and I wouldn't change it for the world! Love my lo (little one) even when I'm pulling my hair out.

You thinks she's mean now just wait when she's running on zero sleep. Hopefully your kids will be good sleepers, try to keep her stress levels low it will only benefit the kids when they are born! Yep that means taking shit and kicks to the groin all day long to keep her happy! Just think in 6 months it could be worse or a lot better!! Good luck!

Even worse news. I think I may have to fight her for custody. I don't even know where to start with something like that?
