    Just did a lift test. Put a 10lb barbell on a scale, zeroed it, and tied it to the bird. Scale read -8 before the weight would start floating around on the driveway. I would guess maintainable payload would be in the 7.5lb neighborhood on a full battery. I wouldnt expect more than 7 minutes of usable flight time at that load. (I get the 34 mins of hover at dry weight)

    Just weighed the length of wire and the egg at the end, and it's right at 1lb. I'm kind of thinking it might be best to run fishing line, or paracord first, that could be pulled back if necessary. Still working out logistics and where I expect it to end up. I'm still waiting on a few other parts before I can finish planning the run.
