Jackman and Beef Stew (Patrick Stewart) have been doing these same roles for 17 years. They are going out on a high note with a good film. Wolverine was Jackman's first movie role. Just to make it a Jackman week, we watched Eddie the Eagle before going to see Logan. I recommend both movies.

Actually that's not entirely accurate- He won an award in Australia for his first film role in Erskineville Kings (1999). He had been doing the equivalent of Broadway in Australia before breaking into film.
