    Default Obsidian Blade Knives

    I'm interested in getting my dad an Obsidian blade knife for Christmas. Something that he could actually use on an animal. Any ideas/ suggestions on where to get one? The ones I've seen online, look chintzy as hell.

    I don't know anyone personally who makes them but googling usable Obsidian Blade Knives brings up http://www.knappinjack.com/knives-custom-stone.html. There are some practical looking knives on there.

    Why not Damascus? Very cool & unique looking with practical uses & attainable from many manufacturers/makers.
