He has had a glass eye ever since I've known him.

Yeah buddy, only a minor flesh wound, but it still sucks.

    Yes it does...

I'm also glad it wasn't a post about being in the ER missing a digit. It only takes a second, man.

Doesn't seem like a good character defense if those are the analogies you're using. lol.

    Mmmm, glass eye story.

I don't recall what precipitated the event besides the usual drinking, lying, and card playing shenanigans, but when I was a wee lad, my father got into a very drunken brawl with a dear friend of his in deer camp one year that had a glass eye. Knocked it out when they "went outside" to settle things like real men do, and then they all spent the next hour or so crawling around on hands on knees looking for Skippy's glass eye. Thankfully, it was early season and there was no snow to speak of outside the cabin.

I was at a buffet with my manager at the time, who sneezed and his glass eye fell out onto his plate. We all kind of looked away like nothing happened. He just wiped it off and popped it back in. Nothing was said.

Looks like BusinessInsider poached the image for the cover of one of their articles. Well, there is probably some original image that both companies used, but you get the idea.

Welcome to the world of micro stock photography. It killed a commercial photography revenue source we relied on to pay the bills. The Business Insider article even has the Shutterstock credit on it.

For about $25 you too can use this image in your business advertising or blog article.

BI must pay a yearly subscription for a catalog of available photos. Otherwise, I can't imagine paying $25 just to toss an image into an article that is barely better than ClickBait.
