I just ordered this for $70 shipped from Optics Planet, w/ a $5 off coupon for registering a new account when I bought my scope and mounts. Taking the pelican case to the range and up and down stairs is too much.

I want to get a lighter weight barrel for the AR, too. This heavy barrel is just too much weight for a fun/tactical gun.

Dad just got himself a fun new toy: Ruger 308 Scout with Burris 2-7 Scout scope. Doubt he'll use it much, since he lives in DC, so it will eventually end up here in Colorado.
