Found one of those older springfield GI models (not the Mil Spec with the taller sights) to fill my old 1911 shaped hole in the collection. It's neat but it's got me thinking how much I want that damn Dan Wesson A2

Nice, I'd like to get a basic GI style 1911.

Was going to get one a couple weeks ago, but I bought a can instead :P

Here is my two barrels that I have. Top is a RRA heavy barrel, weighing in at 2.875 pounds. Below, Faxon lightweight nudging the scales at 1.20

The holster, not the Ruger Single Six. And, technically I didn't purchase the holster, but I did buy the leather, and the dye, and the hardware. Then it was just a case of making them play nice with each other.

Default Post a picture of your latest purchase

Went and visited the fine folks at Mile High Shooting Accessories yesterday afternoon in Erie and bought a Tenebraex ARD w/ a flip cap. Pretty pricey at $121.00 but I didn't care for the extension tube ARD that came with my Vortex Scope. Neat thing is, the Tenebraex screws on to both the scope and the Vortex Ext. Tube.

Placed an order this morning for a throw ring for my Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 through Optics Planet

Did you buy a suppressor and bolt action while at MH? Good place to buy from, bad place to walk in with wanting to buy, on your to do list.
