Buddy just recommended "Queen of the South" on Netflix, so I'll probably start that one when I get some spare time.

Netflix has S1 and S2, and S3 is streaming on USA as new episodes come out. I think Netflix also has the Spanish-language original series "La Reina del Sur"

I know I've seen La Reina Del Sur commercials before, but wouldn't have connected the dots. Interesting to watch both. I've found that there is some pretty great Spanish language stuff out there, so I appreciate you putting that together for me.

I never used to like watching things with sub titles, now I'm finding that I actually pay much closer attention (obviously) to shows/movies if I'm reading subtitles.

I go through periods of trying to learn Spanish. Most recently I've been watching shows in Spanish with Spanish subtitles. *If anyone is learning a language, don't use English subtitles because then you just tune out the language you're trying to learn while your brain reads English.* Shows that I really like are Ingobernable with Kate Castillo and Club De Cuervos.

Ingobernable brought up what I thought was an interesting potential dilemma of what would happen if someone were to shoot a President in self-defense. Don't worry, that's not really a spoiler.

Anyone been watching Sasha Barron-Cohen's new show Who Is America?

It is brutally painful to watch, but it's so good so far. He does a good job throwing the audience a bone and showing people that see right through him and take him to task.

I binged an older canadian "whodunit" series called "Endgame" on Amazon Prime. Main guy is a chess master who solves mysteries from inside the hotel he is afraid to leave since his fiancee was shot dead right outside while he was staying there.

I read backward about 10 pages and I didn't see it mentioned so here it goes, "Generation Kill "on HBO or Prime is great.
+1 for Z Nation, Cheesy and well enough written to give a chuckle, I also like most of the guns are painted.
Ken Burns "The West has been a good series, started on PBS an is now on Netflix.
Letterkenny on HULU is also hilarious, it almost needs subtitles because of their Canadian accents but you can watch it twice like I did and it was still hilarious.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
