Nice to have heat in the truck again. Yay.

Had a 65 dodge van with no heat. At the time (before kids knew not to touch something hot) you could but a plug in window defroster / heater. Basically a 12v mini version of a toaster.
Easy to access flat wire strip that would keep the windows frost free. As well as the driver, providing the unit didn't slide off the dash while going in to a turn. It took longer to defrost the windshield than time it took to get to your destination.

Throw in the convertible top on my 62 Bonny was held together with tape and had 2 army blankets wrapped around a piece of wood between the braces.


Man i miss those days. Coming off the 5th day of a 3 day drunk to get ready for work. Now, it's not necessary to get up n at em till i want to.
