I wonder if the neighbors would notice a really large backstop in my yard?
I wonder if the neighbors would notice a really large backstop in my yard?
Spot on.
Most yards in our neighborhood have a backstop of some sort or another. We like to rotate yards to see who has best Grill food and beer.
I saw 4-6 inch thick cottonwood rounds as big diameter as can and hang from target stands for Mrs bo to throw knives and darts at.
Never complain; never explain.
My Feedback
That's how you know you're in a good neighborhood.
I stood up a backstop this morning with a couple of log rounds hung on it. My wife figured it out pretty quick after we found a good distance for her.
The cheap lightweight SOG throwers I bought stick well, and were very approachable for a new thrower.
Never complain; never explain.
My Feedback
Old thread, but follow-up:
My neighbor saw my backstop and thought I was soft in the head. He thought it was for shooting suppressed in the back yard (I'm smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood). He didn't say anything though, cause my neighbors are awesome.
We are still throwing a mix of SOG knives and hatchets. They weren't expensive and they've aged well. Wraps have been cut and frayed, blades have been nicked and smoothed out, but everything is still functional and fun.
Never complain; never explain.
