Every time I see that preview I declare out loud how I'm going to watch that show, then I keep forgetting.

I wish I could go back and rewatch the first 3 seasons of Deadwood for the first time again.

it was an HBO western series about ten years ago that was set in the town of Deadwood, SD. The series was known for fantastic acting (it basically made Timothy Olyphant and Ian McShane A-listers), great writing, copious levels of swearing, and really well executed set design and costuming.

It was also well known for having the series end on a cliffhanger right before what was going to be a serious confrontation.

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.

Deadwood also mixes in a few historical facts about the Dakota territories and the town itself. If you're offended by cursing and the work fuck, like used a lot, Deadwood is a series to avoid.

Ian McShane was good in an old british series on pbs called Lovejoy.

Just started season 3 of Hemlock Grove. It was already weird, but it REALLY took a turn to the weird......

Did I mention it stars Famke Janssen ?

Wasn't bad but I think I've seen too many Bonnie and Clyde movies

I haven't seen one in decades. I thought it was more of a Hamer & Gault movie. B&C were almost a side story.

Movie critiques aside, how'd you like to be able to walk into your local gun store and grab a Thompson, Colt Monitor or BAR off the rack?

It was probably three or four hundred dollars I bet. Especially with all of the ammunition.
