I remember going to mechanic school in 2005 wanting to learn about hybrids and electric cars. Always said to people then that’s the future of racing. Still today though one thing electric cars will never have is the thump of an aggressive cam, and the looks that follow it when you pull up to a light

As Kazoo once told me many years ago when I was buying jap bikes vs Harley's

"What's all that speed without class?"
"But when it's time to fight, you fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark; and brother, it's startin' to rain."

My wife's boss got one of the new Tesla Model 3's and is teaching his 15 year old daughter to drive on it. Whenever she "has" to drive her mom's Volvo SUV she hates it. For us it's an adjustment to drive EVs after a lifetime of driving ICE cars so for me it's interesting to hear the differences from someone coming from the other way. Our cars have got a lot of attention but none more than with kids. They're constantly asking to take pictures of them or selfies with them and even ask if we can take pics of them in front of them. Kids love these cars which is cool to see.

I'd die of old age before I completed a list of things that 15 year-old girls "hate."
