Standing desk mat (Topo by Ergodriven). Expensive, but the reviews indicate it's worth it. Have a flat mat for my desk at work, but feel like a contoured mat will provide me more options for standing since I tend to shift my weight all the time when standing.

Reason: If I want to continue recovering from spine surgery and hopefully push a fusion farther down the road than 5-10 years, then I have to be extremely careful with my back and stand whenever possible.

And yet, I was born in the 80's! Oh wait, that's not good. I can't lift more than 10-lbs, can't sit down for more than 30-min, wake up saying "owww, my back", and wear sunglasses OVER my prescription glasses. I joke with my wife that this back injury added 20-yrs to my age, I'm just embracing that statement with the sunglasses!
