I've got some plexiglass left over from the Christmas boxes, and I have two glass panels from a storm door that I couldn't break with a hammer or an ax (while inside my trash can). I might try and use something clear so the light still comes through. Heck, while I'm at it, I should make a face shield.

Hang more LED shop lights in the garage. Make it look like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, in the hood. Garage door open. Led's all on, then the occasional glow from the welder. Or sparks coming out the door, from the grinder.
