    Gosh, that's a disappointment. I hope that any entity taking ownership will retain the Barnes line of bullets and cartridges. I've used the Barnes Vor-Tex 120gr in 7mm-08 on two CO moose, two buck mulies and pronghorn. All DRT. It's been a superb performer. Glad I still have a couple of boxes.

    My insider source said the ammo production of Barnes and Sierra was the beginning of the end. Ammo companies pulled back on their use of their bullets once they became competitors. The folks who made those choices are long gone. This might actually be a good thing. Time will tell.

    Thanks for the info, Mark. I think the little 120gr. in 7mm-08 are the schnitz. I haven't found any other factory ammo in that loading.
