I would like to have one with a duramax in it with the allison transmission. that would be pretty badass!

Yeah, then maybe it wouldn't spend a week out of every month in the shop. They'd be cool with a more reliable drive train.

i heard the newer models (maybe 03 and newer) were pretty good and reliable.

I just saw a 06 for sale with 2900 miles. no price though.

i have always dreamed of owning an H1.

The H1 is the only true Hummer, period. The rest are suburbans with body kits and cut frames. After the H1, they are just not worth the money. Before you talk shit about what I said, I sold the damn things, they were pieces of shit, they still are now. Every one sold made it's way back to the dealership. When I stepped into management, I stopped ordering most of the damn things in. Take someone interested in an H2 or 3 and turn them to the Denali, sells every time.

Your ride is undoubtly one of the best off road vehicles there is. P.S. to all of you who talk shit about these, they are less repair reports for these vehicles than there are most GM, Ford, and Toyota 4x4 products.

I agree 100%. I never liked the H2 and absolutely hate the H3. I don't like that the hummer name was branded on them. a true hummer is AM general.
I still go to my bedroom at my parents house where I grew up and am amazed at how obsessed I was with the H1. posters...magazine clippings, models etc

I bet I have over 100 matchbox cars that are hummers. over 20 1/16 scale models of the different color and variations of hummers and lots of other stuff too. i still hope to buy one someday, but right now isn't practical.

maybe alan will let me drive it next time I am up there or at a MG shoot.

Going out in weather like that? You guys are just wrong! That's stay-indoors weather to me, work at the loading bench, sleep, whatever. I despise being cold! The only thing I hate about CO.....

    AWESOME PICTS

I wish I knew what possessed us do do this kind of crazy shit. Did pheasant hunting the same weekend. One day was so hot we were in shorts the next day was a blizzard... no birds and nearly killed my freaking dogs. And still came back smiling. I guess being a hunter makes you masochistic. At least no yotes were harmed in the making of this hunting trip

We like going out in the worst weather. Ice fishing etc. Went pheasant 1 year at -22. The pheasants would run by the road and beg to get in the truck.

Lost a snowmachine 1 year and didn't go back till spring to find it.
We are planning a snow bashing day soon.
