That's your opinion. I'm pretty sure most of the folks posting on this subject know what whatever knife they're talking about looks like.

Alright, I didn't necessarily mean this thread was "useless".... just thought it would be nice to see some pictures. Just like the original poster requested.

What's the big deal about the response? Not sure I'm following.

    Here ya go.
Top: SOG SEAL Pup, early version with "SEKI-JAPAN" blade stamp. Tip has been broken and reground, sharpened more times than I can count, also sharpened an edge along an inch or so on top.
Middle: Ka-Bar D2 Extreme, this is the tool steel one. Tip has been broken and reground (missing about 1"), butt broken off, also sharpened the top curve.
Bottom: CRKT M16-14SFG, has lost teeth on serrations since that pic.

I treat my knives more as tools than simply blades. They see as much time prying, hammering, etc. as they do cutting

I have more damn pocket knives with broken tips !!! When I saw the HEST(bottom knife) for me that was the answer for a fixed blade work knife. It has held up really well with that prybar addition.

May be getting hard to find-I don't believe they're in production anymore ?
DPX and ESEE split and then DPX went maniacal and I don't know if they're around anymore ? Seems like this dealer may have found some but he says they are no longer available and stock will run out.
