Default Senate okays further talk of extending mis-named patriot Act.

Yesterday the Senate voted to continue discussing the Un-patriot Act. In what I would say a landslide vote. 74 Yeas, 8 Nays, and 18 not voting. CO senator Mark Udall voted yea, and Michael Bennett did not vote. It sure looks like our fine state senators are willing to sell the constitution down the river.

    See how the senate voted.

Give your state senators a call:

    Mark Udall - 202-224-5941

    Michael Bennett - 202-224-5852

While pissed, I'm not surprised. I saw this crap coming as soon as Bennett got voted in...in fact it's a wonder he strait up didn't vote "yea."

No personal offense to any forum members, but I credit that with the last ten years and the influx of California people moving into Colorado. Cali businesses could move here and bring 80% of their work force with them. We are one of the only states to allow that by the way.

You mean there are states that forbid businesses to relocate and bring their people?

You can't blame this one all of the dems, as much as people would like to. There were plenty of republicans who voted yes in this one...
