I would personally never give my money to Spikes.

Because of their actions during the 2008 elections. They blatantly gouged their vendors and REQUIRED them to buy their lower receivers at inflated costs in massive quantities in order to continue carrying their products. There are a few other reasons and you can find all with a little searching so I'm not going to turn this into a Spike's piss fest but there are FAR too many options out there to consider one that plays such games IMHO.

Yeah, you'll get people who own their products who likely didn't know before they bought them that will try to defend them or deny it but the simple fact is it did happen, it's well known and (as I already stated) that's just too competitive of a market so support someone who doesn't support the vendors, the consumer (both civilian and government) and the hobby. As far as I'm concerned a lower receiver is a lower receiver and if you're trying to say your Spike's lower is somehow better than my LMT then I will disagree. When everything else is the same save for a few bucks there's no reason to support such actions with your buying dollar. That's just me and I don't expect others to follow my opinions nor do a fault them for going against them. That's the beauty of free market.
