Antelope roasts are my favorite. Beef tips using antelope are very good as well. Just got done eating some of the antelope I took on the 25th. Very tasty. Way more does in area 45 than bucks.

BTW, area 45 is west of Laramie.

    Great weekend guiding hunts.
We filled all 8 customers tags by 10am sat. 7 trophy class bucks that all got caped and are being mounted and one doe.

These out of state-ers have more money than sense. I need to start my own guide service so I get the $2500 a piece instead of just tips.

Went by the processor and they had 140 antelope in by 1pm Sat.
Went by another processor and they had an additional 100+ by the same time.

Sounds like a lot of people filled their tags and it was a good year.

EDIT: For the most part there were a lot better shooters this year. Less shot up animals looking like they got hit by a bomb at both processors.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

    Ok
not the world's greatest hunter by any means, (newbie really) and while I'd be willing to pay big money for a guided hunt (esp for trophy class animals)

there's simply no fucking way that I would pay for an antelope.
for fuck's sake, haven't these people been to wyoming??????
    there are EVERYWHERE.

Here's a couple pics of my doe from yesterday. Got this one in CO, GMU 105, East of Denver about an hour and a half. Skinned carcus hanging weight at Steve's Meat Market in Arvada was 55lbs, so pretty decent size.

Thanks! Tad high but I was zeroed at 200 yds with the .270 Hornady Super Performance 130 Gr SST (3200 fps at the muzzle). Antelope was probably at 120 yds or so.

decent buck. Hit on the run @ 413 yards (per LimitedGM's rangefinder), no shit.. Most of the animule's we saw were VERY spooky and would be running in about .003 seconds. Average buck, once in a lifetime LUCKY shot. Shooting my Old Man's 30.06 Single shot Ruger, with a 4x16x50 BDC scope. 168 grn, Berger... And for all the longrange guys out there, wow, dont see how you do it. 400 is a long fucking shot on a small animal....
