I find the p22 to be a peice of shit. The slide will crack at high round count. The barrel nut loosens up while firing. The mag release gets hit if you have big hands or wear gloves.

Its dissapointing because its so light and handy.

I love my P22, and I've had zero problems with it (except some occasional ejection issues, which isn't too uncommon with .22), and I've put a lot of rounds through it.

I also have a little Heritage 22lr/22mag single action that is a lot of fun.

I dig my Buckmark quite well. Replaced the rear sight assembly with a rail that has a fully adjustable rear sight, and put a red-dot on it, and it's a hoot now. If you get an auto, get several extra magazines and a speed loader for them!

My M&P 22 has been 100% reliable. Also it is full size which I like better than some of the small .22s.

Had a Walther P22 and really liked it. Sold due to bills.

Now I am running a Mark II bull barrel. Couldn't be happier! Lover her!

If I had the chance to buy anther Walther I would do so in a heartbeat!!

i have a MP 22 and a top end for my sti. the mp 22 will eat anything i throw at it so far. federal bulk Winchester non jacketed bulk, cci. the sti top end wont reliably shoot the Winchester crap, however it is a little more accurate then the MP22. but both get the job done at 20 yrs.

all in all good training pistols. blow up a few hundred rnds and you dont have to cringe. heh

the MP 22 is better after bert took his sawzil and removed the mag block and craptastic plastic safety levers oh and put a dawson FO front site on.

prolly my only wish is that .22lr recoiled _more_
