How much did you pay for all that steel? I'm assuming it is just mild steel and not anything hardened like AR500, right?

Well the two dimples in the white one were with a .308 so it's fairly hardened. The guy I bought them from was unsure exactly and said he has been shooting them with 45's for nearly a decade on his ranch. I am still trying to pin down exactly what I've got. I paid $300 for the lot.

I could help you break those in if you need any

The plan is to trailer them up to Pine in the next few weeks just to try them out. Shoot them with a few calibers just to see what I ended up with. I'll try to remember to hit you up when we finalize the departure!
