We've got 2 apple trees, one large peach tree (more like a bush though, its 10ft wide and 8-9ft tall) and one 25ft tall nectarine tree, that for some reason, isn't producing any fruit this year.

I think with cherry trees you need two of them, otherwise they can't cross-pollinate and produce fruit. We are interested in getting one, but there are quite a few cherry orchards not 10min up the hill and they produce EXCELLENT bing and rainier cherries. A brown paper lunch bag FULL of cherries (pick them yourself style) is only $6.

If they have another cherry tree on their route. Or maybe I'm thinking of a different type of fruit tree, but if I recall you needed two of them to get fruit.

Yup, the peaches and nectarines were delicious last year! Though we only got about 8 nectarines that were edible, and not even 10 of the peaches (out of the 200 we picked) were edible due to the aphids. But fresh free fruit is always more delicious! Probably because you water it and stare at it for weeks until you can finally eat it.

So today I ran into this guy; I was talking to his mom about making bags for the SBR's I'm making. Anyway he said his girlfriend at the time set him up, she was sleeping with another guy. He said he was sitting at his apartment and this guy walked in, he heard the door and then he remembers being hit and laying on the ground. Said he had to have his face reconstructed. He was bashed in the face with a pair of brass knuckles, over and over; 68 pieces of titanium in his skull!

Call me paranoid; not that I deal with people like that, but It makes me feel sane when I hear stories like this; and justifies while I always have my gun with me. Even when i am sitting at home!
