For pistol reloading, I really like the Lee Auto Disk powder measures. Once I find the hole for the powder and charge I want, they are as accurate or more accurate than the Dillon powder measure, and since there is no adjustment, there is less chance for a change in drop weight. The spring return has never given me a problem, and they cost less than the Dillon measure. I use a separate one on each of the Dillon 550 toolheads I have.

Loaded up some Big Iron 255g LSWC with 16g of Hecules 2400 (not Alliant). Hope to get them down range this coming weekend. Got to test some 44M using Herc 2400 and some 38 Special using Unique too.

Tried buying that keg of unique today, logistics just didn't work. The weather's been holding out, eliminating the need for propane heater.

Absolutely nothing because I'm no longer set up for it. With that said, how's the component availability been lately? I'm hoping to get back into a simple single stage set up, pretty much exclusively for 9mm and 40. I'd like to mimic our carry ammo and shoot shoot shoot (when we have time). So what say the populace, has the pipeline opened back up? Be on the lookout in the wanted section too.

the components are there, and plentiful. The nice thing about pistol shooting is that a pound of powder gets over 1400 rounds, typically.

for training 9mm I get over 1500 per pound of powder.

That's great to hear! Now to start gathering. Longshot looks like a good choice for pushing a 180 grain fmjfp to around 1010 FPS with reasonable pressure. when it comes to pistol, I've only ever done mild 45ACP and 9mm loads with Win231. Any decent deals on single stage starter kits out there?

SW was running $50 off anything over $200 when done online, pick up at store deal.

Here's one off CL to gauge pricing.
