Colt Wiley Clapp CCO, previously enjoyed. Original owner swapped out the ignition parts for those from John Harrison, as well as Novak front night sight with Heinie low mount single tritium dot rear sight. He had different VZ grips on it, I put on these. This set-up of a Commander barrel/slide with Officers frame has always seemed to be the best configuration for a 1911 ccw piece to me. Ran a few rounds through it on Sunday, 100% function and shot great. Came with the box/papers, all original parts (except the grips) a Wilson mag, McCormick mag in addition to the two Colts.
Excellent fit/finish, tight barrel lockup, no rattles at all.

Very nice, Doc. I have the Wiley Clapp Government, and like it a lot. That's a good looking grip combination on that gun.
I picked up a Vortex Spark AR for my semi-functional, unreliable .22lr gun, so that I will reduce my FTE time between targets in competition. I wasn't prepared to be impressed, because I am a snobby Aimpoint/EOTech kind of guy, but first impressions are that it is a nicely constructed sight for the price point.

Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
Not really for me but for my son who turns 12 next month. I'm sure he will let me shoot it.
