They should do away with the emissions testing program altogether and just go after gross polluters. Stupid fukn waste of money.

But NOOOO, now Dick-N-Pooper is trying to bring in CA CARB to rule over us minions.

This is how much my car pollutes...

What is this emissions you speak of ? I know eventually the entire country will be under some epa mandate. Till then, or the next election, i'll not worry.

She said "fine". No comments about transport, ailment, ….anything. It would be easy to just say forget worrying about you then with an answer like that, but I respect her decision to reveal nothing I suppose. There were several people in this house that were concerned for her though, and some other neighbors, so I thought it kinda chicken shit to play it off as though "nothing" happened.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't help her out again personally, or as this family here has over the years. Was kind of a snub but oh well.

Bad news for me on my truck...looks like I need to get a new turbo, or at the least try to save and rebuild this one. Huge oil leak developed today.

I left work a bit dejected today after doing much more work on the belt drive system and stuff. I'll overcome the bullshit problems and work through it.

I could run down to the valley for you and look. I wouldn't say they're chop shops. But............... a lot of "used parts" places off 60 in phoenix with some real smoking hot

Damnit car parts that don't quite line up properly...
Luckily it was just a plastic wheel well liner. So some tin snips, a few extra screws, all is well.

Ah yes….it blows because it sucks. A failed seal blew oil all throughout the exhaust system.

The bright side of course, is getting it repaired AND improving the efficiency while they're messing with it,...right? I'll find out some options on Monday and see if I can get it wicked up during the rebuild process. It's too bad that 25 years ago, I knew somewhat of a turbo genius who I'm sure is long retired by now. More boost is always gooder.
