I probably struck some feelers with that comment but generally speaking, having kids makes life more expensive. We own our house, we own our vehicles, and we've opted to not have kids anytime soon. Hell, we do not even have any pets because we don't want the extra responsibility. This isn't to say that if you have kids, you don't live a comfortable life because my sister and BIL have two and they are very well off. It's simple math; more people in the household, more money needed to support the house.

It's really funny because people ask us all the time when we are having kids and when we tell them never, they look at us like we are the devil himself. This REALLY blows away the older generation and it's almost like they can't believe us . We both love kids but just don't want any of our own which I think makes us very unselfish for making that decision. I think we can all agree there are far too many people out there with kids, that shouldn't.

No feelers struck here, I literally meant I chose the wrong career path (financially speaking), as I know people that have more kids than me, but make much more money and live quite comfortably. We all choose what path we want to go down, I've worked hard the last few years to position myself for promotions, so hopefully things will get comfortable for me in the near future. Hopefully my statement wasn't taken the wrong way, as I don't doubt everyone on this sight has worked hard for what they have.

Watch it dude. It was a comedy when it came out but, with every year that passes, it's basically becoming a documentary and the decline of Western Civilization... and I'm terrified behind the laughter as I watch it time and time again.

The hoopty needed some new skins as the currents ones on it are wearing pretty thin. I was going to go with the Falken AT3's but when I went to order them, they suggested I look at the Goodyear Ultraterrains that were just released six months ago exclusively as a Discount Tire only. I always deal with the same guy at DT and he was wanting some feedback on the tire so he shaved quite a bit off the price to sell them under what the Falkens were going to cost me to make the sale. Well when I bought this rig, it did not have a spare tire so I picked up some cheap steelies to go with the new tires and will use one of the stockers for spare. Since it was the end of the month, they knocked quite a bit off of the wheels as well to try and make their numbers look better. If you need some tires, I would suggest going towards the end of the month as they are willing to cut a better deal.


We will see if old Jer bear makes the switch as they are all the talk on the Tacoma forums and are supposedly supposed to be a better hybrid than the duratracs. About the only reviews I found were on the Taco forums and found this picture that shows them very well.
