    I agree. I don't understand the attraction for the "Saw" franchise.

    I would classify Aliens as Sci-Fi and The Silence of the Lambs as a crime drama.

    Yeah I don’t like the Saw franchise. Some cool kills but bad story and gimmicks instead of good stories.

    Aliens is for sure a sci-fi/horror, but Silence of the Lambs is horror in my book. It has all the elements and formula and of a horror film.

    I find Silence of the Lambs to be more 'suspense' than horror, but maybe that's me.
