True that. I always wanted them to bring the 'ute' to the states in left-hand drive. Would be awesome to have a Maloo with a big V8.

There was a place in WheatRidge ? I think, that did the conversions. Don?t know if they are still in business.

I had been playing around with an old TV box in my basement for the last few weeks.
Got it running and tried to watch some hi-def material. Big fail on the quality of the output.

Decided to find an updated version and sprung for this

I have only used the device to play youtube video's and stuff I had stuffed on a thumb drive.
Quality of the output seems good to the tv. The LED display is blazing bright to the point that
the text (time) is hard to read.

Speed of the device is fast, and if I figure a way to hook it up to my NAS it will be a nice addition
    to the basement TV.

The big downside for now is I have not found a way to access amazon prime via a dedicated application.

That would be Left Hand Ute's. Randy is still doing them but even in Aus the prices of used wrecks has gone up. Since Holden closed down in 2017 parts are getting scarce. Mine was not built there but he has been a big help getting mine together.

The Ute's and Wagons were never made in LHD. In 2010 Pontiac was going to start and it was even in the 2009 brochure that said coming in 2010.

Download KODI. Then download a "build" for KODI. The build will have a bunch of what they call "add ons" These add ons are basically apps that access content to stream. There will most likely be an amazon prime add on available. Kodi and the add ons are a rabbit hole though. Here is the Kodi main site. Then just google Kodi Builds and away you go! It's free and the webistes for builds typically have great walk through instructions on how to do stuff.
