Sent them this email this morning:
First off, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this!
As you know, you will be seeing HB 1224 and voting on it this coming week. There has been a lot of lively debate and the word from the people of Colorado is a resounding "No!" for this bill and all other anti-liberty bills. HB 1224 would force Magpul Corp to shut down business here and move to another state. That is almost 1000 jobs lost directly from Magpul and their affiliates and hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue that will leave Colorado. Limiting magazine capacity had nothing to do with public safely, and as the SCOTUS ruled in Heller vs Washington DC, magazines that are in common use by the military and law enforcement cannot be banned.
With all respect due to your honorably elected position, I strongly urge you to do the right thing for these people, do the right thing for Colorado, and do the right thing in the name of liberty: Vote "NO" on HB 1224, 1228, and 1229!
Thank you for your time and consideration in this most important matter.

P.S. If you plan to vote yes on any of these bills, I would appreciate a response with your reasoning. Thanks!
