Just finished up my preps for a batch of tex-mex style chili that's going in the crock pot tomorrow. I know jim is super disappointed that it's not Cincinnati style, but a mans gotta make due.

I got a good deal a few weeks ago on prime angus ground beef. $2/lb. Used the last of that up in the chili. I cooked up a couple chopped onions in the beef after it was browned..scooped up a spoonful and dashed some salt on that for a bite. Tasted just like White Castle. So I need to pick up some dinner rolls thus weekend and make myself some poor mans white castles for din din. I need to find just the right buns and also get some sliced pickles to complete that forgery.

Hey OBC, I got my new trigger today!

The pull is very similar to what I had before, but a little smoother and more consistent, and with the obvious addition of a second stage. First pull didn't feel like it was worth $180. I did about 100 dry fires and I'll admit that it took some time to appreciate it. The break is incredibly crisp and the pull weight is VERY consistent, smooth, and predictable. Still not sure if it was worth $180, but I would definitely pay $100 for it.

I'm sure a good trigger like this is infinitely valuable for a skilled long range shooter like TheBelly. It will probably improve my shooting, but I'm not sure I'm good enough to reap the full benefits.

I wonder if you grab the crappiest trigger, and dry fire intermittently between the good trigger, if it would feel more noticeable?
