Holy sheet.....CNN hired the Brawny towel guy to do on the spot reporting. During the spot, I was waiting for the Quicker Picker Upper line.

Wait a minute....I think that was Bounty. No matter.

Dinner !!! Heard about an idea to use Italian sausage and do pig in a blanket thing....dipping into marinara or spaghetti sauce. Sounded good so giving it a go.
Another trick was to brown some garlic cloves while you're browning the sausages, and mix the cloves with a spicy mustard. Coat the dough with the mustard mix before making the blanket, and bake it at around 300F for roughly 20 minutes.

    More later.

I know the interest is overwhelming, but I'll not let that discourage me.

If you try this recipe, I recommend using a mild Italian sausage. I used Pepperidge Farm Puff pastry. I had pizza dough mix also and was going to do both for comparison, but the pizza dough will have to wait till next time. The Puff worked out well for beginners purpose's.

The garlic / mustard goo inside the wrap was killer, and as a test drive.....sprinkled some parmesan cheese on the dough on one of them. That was a win.

The best way to have them is with some lightly browned peppers and onions thrown in. We'd do that then offer them with mozzarella for another $0.50.

I did a, come in wearing your skimpiest bikini for a free lg soda with any lunch purchase. Went okay till the owners wife put the kebosh on it. Having a pizza shop across from the boat docks was, at times, interesting.

Runzas couldn't have a more appropriate name.
