correct, I have license/radio, do not have echolink.
Perhaps people who have studied a bit and are ready to take a test, but for some reason just have not yet can meet before/after the test? That may be just the little bit of motivation needed to actually show up?Originally Posted by asmo
For me I had to put a date on it. otherwise I would just procrastinate and say to myself "meh, I don't want to go today.". Anyone need help with studying? I don't have a book, but I can lend someone flash cards if it would help.
While I have a radio, my antenna recently was run over by the Garage door, and I cannot get one perhaps until the end of the month. I have several Baofengs for just in case. I am working on a program scheme for them though.

This has happened to me more times than I can count. Wake up and say - naahh.. not today. I'm tired/hungry/hung-over/horny/etc..

Ohh and those who just want to get the Technician class for now; at least take the General afterwards, it doesn't cost extra and it is at least a free look at the next test.
I have Echolink up on my iPhone and have tested with the Echotest. The only other I have set as a favorite is W0TX-R. I am still trying to monkey through the settings on my Mac and Airport for use on the computer.
I spent last weekend updating my Baofeng's. I put in a lot of the repeater FQ's and some simplex FQ's as well.
