Nobody, is eating at good places anymore?

Nobody can afford it. The spouse and i can grill, smoke, stove top or oven, comparable to most eateries. How hard is it to make a burger cooked the way you want, without waiting 10-20 minutes? Ribs, chicken , beef on the smoker, easier at home besides being hit with a $30-50 bill, for 2. Is it nice to enjoy a meal and get away from the homestead, sure. However 2-4X a month is pushing it for us, monetary wise. Even worse we're only 2, how a family of 4 or 5 manage to eat out??

Exactly! We used to eat out every weekend, not anymore. Once a month is about it for us, and even that may go away when our next son comes.

Between my wife and I, we can prepare pretty much anything American, BBQ, Italian better than what we get out and for a lot less.

We do like the Bonefish Grill as we really can't easily beat the taste at home and we leave the kids home. Last night we had chicken/bacon wraps for dinner at the baseball game, made at home and took with. They were great. However my wife is angry since I made a comment to my Mom asking if she had ever made a McDonald's inspired entree.

The Bella Bistro in Arvada closed which was another place we liked to go for date night. Will have to find another I guess.
