    For EDC folder, just easier to carry and the sheeple won't look at you.

    I am not sure about a fixed blade for EDC. I think it would get in the way and the length of an effective carry piece would cause carry issues along with
    scaring the sheeple that your some crazy guy.

    What are your daily needs for a knife other than having apocket knife for an unforseen need
    or is due to the nature of your job?

    I carried a Zero Tolerance 0301 for the last 5 years or so. I was in the oilfield and
    needed a robust knife that could take the abuse I have given it. I recently(this weekend) switched to
    and Emerson Commander, same blade length and a whole lot lighter. I think
    it will stand up to the paces I will throw at it now. I am not in the field anymore so I doubt I need
    such a beefy knife as I once did. Ya never know though.
    The "Wave shaped opening feature" actually opens the blade a lot quicker then an automatic
    and with a little practice you are ready to go in a blink of an eye. I really like that
    feature.
