I recently moved from my Benchmade Mel Pardue automatic to a SOC Twitch XL tanto. Really REALLY like it.

In fact, I like it so much so I bought a second one for the standard silver blade, silver pocket clip, and pretty wood handle:

Nice, I like that wood handle one, ya know for days I'm not feeling so tactical and all.

I have to agree. The SOGs are wonderful. Then again, I've had this Swiss Army knife since 1990.

Oh yeah, for the tiny pocket tool, the Victorinox swiss army knives are hard to beat. I've been carry one since about that same time, although I replace it periodically with the same model as the scissors dull and things loosen. My favorite is the "Manager" model. That, the SOG, and an ITP A3 EOS mini CREE light (amazingly bright, 4 modes, and uses a AAA battery!) live in my pocket every day. Leaves me prepared for most anything.
